September 24, 2004, Newsletter Issue #86: What do I need - & Medicad?

Tip of the Week

Let`s not talk of death today, but money. It is a purchase that all make, yet few know how costly and what choices there are in this purchase. The family may be responsible if indeed the late loved one made no plans. Does your bank account have say $7,000.00 to $12,000.00 spare change for this unexpected purpose? You say you don`t wish to rock the boat and cover all the subjects of death and funeral arrangement with your parents. Fine, but pretending it doesn`t exist (this large purchase)and not getting to the bottom of it when you may find it easier and lest costly for YOU, will not make it easier at all. That later exchange, not planning or asking if plans are in place, will cause your family more stress and money than if handled prior.

This is an opening, print it and start asking questions to fill it out with your loved one.
