March 12, 2004, Newsletter Issue #58: Funeral costs now represent one of the largest

Tip of the Week

A casket or coffin is often the most expensive item purchased for a funeral, but these vary extensively in price and style. Generally sold for visual appeal, caskets are made of metal, wood, fiberglass or plastic.

Pre-need funeral plans should be made with reputable companies you have researched and trust. Pre planning is suggested over pre paying.

Contracts should cover even the smallest details. Everything reduced to writing to even cover color, make, model number of product and including cancellation and refunds on services as well.
