Frustration
A loss of a grandchild is a double burden. Not only are the grandparents mourning the loss of their grandchild, they also hurt for the pain their child is feeling. Grandparents feel helpless and frustrated because they cannot fix things for their children.

Being single, I had no one to share my grief with. I couldn't share it with my son and his girlfriend, they had more than enough of their own. My other son had his wife to console him. My ex had his wife to comfort him. I was on my own. It has been six months and I still cry almost everyday but no one knows. There is no one that I can talk to about my 1st grandchild who only lived 12 hours.
