June 25, 2004, Newsletter Issue #73: funeral help if crime victim death related

Tip of the Week

When a death is `unattended` often the body is not found for several days. As with crime scene deaths, there are
clean ups required. Many think that once the police or coroner remove the body, they then clean up the areas.
NOT so, it is left to the home owner, business or family.
AND it is something a family should not have to see, or be put through. There is help from most insurance firms for the cost of the scene cleanup, or that state that the incident happened in.
